Alter Ceiling Renovation - Week Six

Week six saw the installation of the sanctuary lights and the beginning of the installation of the ceiling planks. Joe Hreso, the St. Malachy project liason, requested photos of the ceiling be curtailed after this week's post so as to not take away from the "wow" factor when the ceiling is unvieled. And when will that happen? We are still 2-3 weeks away folks. Maybe longer, as there is now discussion to strip and recover the wooden floor of the altar itself. Research is now being done to find suitable contractors to bid. As the altar is completely bare now it would only make sense to take care of it at this time.
