Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD)
The Confraternity of Christian Doctrine is an association established at Rome in 1562 for the purpose of giving religious education. Its modern usage, often abbreviated CCD, is a religious education program of the Roman Catholic Church normally designed for children.
CCD classes are held on Sundays from 9:00 AM until 10:15 AM followed by the 10:30 AM Mass.
Students preparing for the Sacraments of Penance, Communion, and Confirmation must complete two consecutive years.
